Faith-based, Christian Counselling

I offer Christian counselling for those who want to include their faith and spirituality in therapy, whether that faith feels strong, uncertain, or something you are still working out.

As a practicing Christian, I understand wanting a therapist who appreciates faith and spirituality as centrally important in your life. I understand deeply how being a person of faith can shape the way we see ourselves, our relationships and the world around us.

My training integrated Christian theology with counselling practice, so we can incorporate it into our work as much or as little as you would like.

Together, we might explore:

  • Your relationship with God, yourself and others

  • Doubt, deconstruction and existential questions

  • Shame, control and the impact of spiritual abuse

  • Transitions in belief and identity

  • The ways faith intersects with anxiety, relationships, sexuality, singleness, marriage, grief and everyday life.

Therapy can offer a different kind of space from church or pastoral care - somewhere confidential, reflective and free from expectations. I won’t tell you what to believe or offer spiritual advice. Instead, I’ll help you explore what your faith means to you and how you want it to shape your life moving forward.
